The only thing that could possibly improve our Cheese Tasting – Wine! We’ve perused our extensive wine list and selected three superb wines that pair deliciously with your cheese selection. Enjoy a small glass of each, matched to specific cheeses within your tasting, and enjoy discovering new and delicious flavour combinations!

Accessibility
If you have limited mobility or are travelling with someone who has limited mobility please let us know in advance. The experience is totally accessible, but we will need to open our front door for you, as typically attendees will enter via the external steps to the Deli entrance.
Our tastings are suitable for sight or hearing impaired visitors, with verbal commentary, as well as written information provided.
Dietary Details
Our Scottish Cheese Tasting obviously contains various types of dairy. Our Scottish Charcuterie tasting includes meat, and some dairy. With prior notice, we can offer a cow’s milk-free cheese or charcuterie tasting, and a gluten-free cheese or charcuterie tasting. Our Cheese Tasting is suitable for vegetarians, but we cannot offer a meat-free alternative to the Charcuterie Tasting. You are advised to book a Cheese Tasting.
Pre-Arrival
Please arrive promptly to make the most of your tasting. Head to the Deli, where one of the team will register you.
Your tasting session will not be private, unless you purchase all 8 tickets, or pre-book a private tasting.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. This experience is suitable for adults, and children over 8yrs old with an adventurous palate!
Dog-friendly tastings
We are proudly dog-friendly across site here at Thyme Deli & Bistro.
Your dog may accompany you during your tasting, provided it is kept on a lead, and is well-behaved. We are happy to provide a bowl of water. Please be mindful that if you are just buying a general ticket/s, your tasting may have participants who are not part of your group, so is may not not suitable for a more nervous or boisterous dog.
